BUSECO successfully holds its April, 2015 Sports fest

 

The Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) recognizes the importance of its intellectual capital. Hence, the cooperative are devising means to ensure that the workforce will have an avenue wherein they can demonstrates and hones their skills and talents particularly in terms of sports and they can have fun also while mingling with their colleagues. Further, the cooperative wishes to establish an avenue that will ensure camaraderie and teamwork and ensure that unity and solidarity of all Partners and Associates are promoted. With this, the management with the unified support of the Board of Directors, decided to conduct sports fest monthly. Also, along with the sports fest is the celebration of birthdays of all P & A of the respective month which added festivity to the monthly celebration. The celebrations are done randomly in various districts within the coverage area of BUSECO.

On April 11, 2015, BUSECO successfully conducted its Sports fest for the month of April at 52nd Engineering Brigade, Manolo Fortich, Bukidnon. The celebration was started by reciting the BUSECO Prayer and followed by the singing of National Anthem. FSD Manager Christy B. Escarro then delivered her opening remarks to formally open the celebration. Sports Committee then declared the start of the game for the month. Tug of War for both men and women were first facilitated followed by basketball, volleyball, lawn tennis, badminton, table tennis, dart, patentero and chess.

For this round, bouts were between Blue Eagles versus Fighting Maroons and Green Archers versus Red Warriors. After all the games, giving of birthday cakes to April celebrants was then conducted. A closing prayer lead by Noel Bahian concluded the activity.

The activity is another milestone worth celebrating for BUSECO for such once again strengthened the solidarity and unity of the Partners and Associates. BUSECO believes that with solidarity and unity amongst its workforce, its services to its Member Consumer Owners will be further enhanced. It is with the premise that by giving a pause from a tedious and dreary works that each Partners and Associates is doing, productivity will significantly increase. Further, with unified workforce and all out support of the policy makers BUSECO will surely achieve its dream of becoming a World Class Organization in the near future.
