BUSECO Turnovers 14 Solar Lights to Lantapan Barangay Captains

 

As an electric distribution utility and at the same time social development agency, BUSECO envisions to totally electrify the rural areas. Further, BUSECO encourage the installation of street lights in the barangays of its franchise area through distribution of solar lights to all barangays. This is to help the rural folks conquer darkness during night time and further maintain peace and order.

 

On February 12, 2014, BUSECO conducted ceremonial turnover of 14 Solar Lights to 14 Barangay Captains of Lantapan, Bukidnon. The said turnover was attended by the Barangay Captains, representative from Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) and Indigenous People (IP) together with Director Dioscora Gallano Ngoho and Branch Operation Management Department (BOMD) Manager Melchie Nacalaban.

 

This activity simply showed the sincerity of BUSECO in helping the community at the same time showing its partnership with the barangays. BUSECO also hopes that through this program, its partnership with the barangay captains will be more strengthened and sustained for the good of its Member-Consumer-Owners.

 

BUSECO wishes to convey to its MCOs that the cooperative is doing all means to continuously promote the rights and interests of its cooperative members while striding harder towards its dream of becoming a World Class organization.
