BUSECO signed 220MW with GREI

The Bukidnon Second Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) is sensible with its primary purpose of existence which is to deliver continuous electricity services to its Member Consumer Owners (MCOs). With this, with the reduction of BUSECO’s contracted capacity with the Philippine Sector Assets and Liabilities Management (PSALM) recognizes the need to enter into Power Supply Agreement with reliable Independent Power Producers.

BUSECO successfully entered into and signed our Electricity Supply Agreement with Gerphil Renewable Energy Inc. (GREI) for the 220kW electricity generated by the Panoon Falls Mini Hydro Plant for a period of five years last January 29, 2015 at Celeste Hotel, Makati City. With reference to BUSECO power supply plan, this 220 kW is important to supplement the increasing demand requirement of the cooperative with consideration of our load reduction by PSALM due to impending privatization.

Present during the signing were: for GREI –President Engr. Godolivo B. Urbiztondo Jr., VP/Plant Manager Oldarico N. Pelonio. For BUSECO were Board of Directors Pres. Eligio C. David Jr. , BOD VP Charlie C. Castillanes, BOD Secretary Edwin Galicia, BOD Treasurer Gloria Ranile, BOD Auditor Francis Boniao, BOD PIO Tarcisio Barros, Director Dioscora Ngoho, Director Alex Payangga, Director Rev. Fr. Danilo Paciente, General Manager Deiter Hoff P. Arellano, CPA, MBA, Corplan Manager Christopher Dulfo, FSD Manager Christy B. Escarro, Executive Secretary Ana Victoria Maturan and CCO Theresa Justaga.

This undertaking ensures that our cooperative will have a sufficient and continuous power supply in the near future to the advantage and benefits of our Member Consumer Owners which is also very important with the aspiration of BUSECO to become a World Class Organization.

Onwards and soar high BUSECO!
