  JUNE 2026

Bukidnon II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) proudly celebrates a new milestone as it receives a Plaque of Recognition from the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) — a distinction affirming consistent compliance with the Uniform Reportorial Requirements and the timely submission of Annual Reports from 2021 to 2025.

The award was formally conferred on June 29, 2026, during the ERC’s 25th Founding Anniversary held at the 26th Floor of Exquadra Tower. Representing BUSECO was Corplan Manager Ethel Marie O. Rubio, who accepted the plaque in the presence of distinguished guests including Department of Energy (DOE) Secretary Sharon S. Garin and ERC Chairperson & CEO Atty. Francis Saturnino C. Juan. The event carried the theme: “The Next Watt: 25 Years of Regulating for a Modern Energy Future.”

This recognition is more than an award; it is a symbol of trust and integrity. It reflects BUSECO’s steadfast commitment to transparency, accountability, and regulatory excellence, ensuring that every report, every operation, and every decision upholds the principles of good governance in the Philippine electric power industry.

Out of 121 Electric Cooperatives nationwide, only 10 earned this distinction. In Mindanao, just 2 out of 34 ECs received this honor, and BUSECO proudly stands in this select circle of excellence.

Through this achievement, BUSECO continues to champion the values of service, reliability, and empowerment, proving that cooperative leadership anchored in integrity can illuminate communities and strengthen public confidence.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the Energy Regulatory Commission for this honor, and to our Board of Directors, Management, Partners & Associates, and Member‑Consumer‑Owners (MCOs), whose collective dedication and cooperation make every milestone possible. Together, we continue to power lives and uphold the light of good governance.
