| MARCH 2026 |
BUSECO proudly held its 17th District Assembly in the following districts:
- March 14, 2026 in Impasug-ong and Cabanglasan
- March 21, 2026 in Libona
- April 11, 2026 in Baungon
These assemblies served as meaningful venues for members to engage, strengthen cooperative ties, and align shared goals. They also laid the groundwork for the highly anticipated Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) this coming July 2026.
The AGMA is recognized as the highest policy-making body of the cooperative, where every member’s voice matters in shaping BUSECO’s future. More than a formal gathering, it is a celebration of unity, transparency, and collective responsibility.
Traditionally, all ten districts of BUSECO conduct their District Assemblies each year. However, in compliance with NEA Memorandum No. 2026-12 on government energy conservation protocols, only districts with Directors due for District Elections were convened this year. This adjustment reflects BUSECO’s commitment to both cooperative governance and adherence to national directives, balancing institutional priorities with energy conservation measures.
Despite these limitations, the assemblies successfully fostered dialogue, reinforced cooperative values, and ensured that members remained informed and empowered. By conducting these assemblies, BUSECO reaffirms its dedication to participatory governance and its responsibility to uphold both cooperative principles and government-mandated protocols.
As we look ahead to the AGMA in July, BUSECO carries forward the spirit of cooperation, resilience, and shared responsibility, building a stronger, more transparent, and future-ready cooperative for all member-consumer-owners.
