LAKTAK 2026 Power Love Run: Fueled by Love, Powered by ECs

The Bukidnon II Electric Cooperative, Inc. (BUSECO) proudly joined thousands of runners across the country in the LAKTAK 2026 Power Love Run, a nationwide fun run and walk spearheaded by the Philippine Rural Electric Cooperatives Association, Inc. (PHILRECA) in partnership with the One-EC Network Foundation.

Held at the BUSECO Main Office grounds in Manolo Fortich, the event brought together families, friends, employees, and member-consumer-owners (MCOs) in a celebration of love, health, unity, and cooperative spirit. With categories spanning 3KM, 6KM, and 10KM, including a special Couple Run, participants proved that love and endurance go hand in hand.

The nationwide initiative carried the theme “Fueled by Love, Powered by ECS” and aimed to raise awareness and support for programs benefiting the electric cooperative sector. Net proceeds from the synchronized runs across the Philippines will directly fund advocacies of the One EC Network Foundation, reinforcing the cooperative values of service, solidarity, and social responsibility.

Locally, BUSECO recognized its top finishers across all categories, while celebrating every participant for their contribution to the cooperative’s mission of community empowerment. Safety briefings, hydration stations, and post-run activities ensured that the event was inclusive, secure, and enjoyable for all ages and fitness levels.

“United We Stand, We Stand United,” PHILRECA emphasized in its advisory, underscoring the strength of the cooperative movement when communities move together for a cause.

The LAKTAK 2026 Power Love Run was more than a race, it was a Valentine’s Day to remember, a mission accomplished, and a testament to the enduring power of unity in action.
